Women Of the Word
The Women of the Word organization is the vehicle that is available for all women to study God’s Word together, support each other, and do ministry. Every woman of the St. Paul’s congregation is a “member” and can take part in as many or as few ways as fits them. There are 3 opportunities for Bible study together each month. Martha Circle meets on the first Monday evening of each month at different homes. Mary Circle meets at 7 PM on the first Tuesday evening of each month at the church. A Brown Bag Bible study is held at the church on the second Wednesday of the month at noon so that women who participate can get back to work by 1 PM. There is a different mission emphasis each month, such as Center for Survivors, Columbus Rescue Mission, Living Water Mission in York, Birthright, and more. We also collect winter clothing for needy families, offer evangelism to community events, and more. Through the offerings of the women we assist several young people who are working in full-time evangelism, a student in Africa, and others that are in need. Our goal as an organization is to live our days as “living sacrifices” for our Lord Jesus Christ. Come and join us!
