Pastor Raleigh was born and raised in Hastings, Nebraska. He has served at St. Paul Lutheran in Osceola for over five years. He also serves on the Heartland District Council and the Augustana District Board of Theology and Ministry.

Raleigh has been married to April since May of 2000. They have five children: Cory, Gavin, Liam, Leo, and Joseph. They also have a Labrador Retriever, Maizee, and a German wire-haired pointer, Moxie. 

 

Scripture records​​ these promises: 

Whoever believes and is baptized shall be saved.  [Mark 16:16]

and

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. [Romans 10:13]

 

But, how are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? [Romans 10]

Raleigh's call is to use the voice God had given him to speak Christ's promise to sinners in Word and Sacrament:

 "Take heart, child, your sins are forgiven" [Matthew 9:2, Mark 2:5, Luke 7:48].  

Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. [Romans 10:17].
