Rally Sunday and Fall Ministry Kickoff

Fall is nearly upon us, and that means it’s time for our Fall Ministry Kick-Off at St. Paul Lutheran in Osceola!

On Wednesday, September 9, Confirmation classes begin for 7th and 8th graders, as well as other young people who have not yet completed Confirmation.

Our first meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. and is for students and their parents. Pizza will be provided! Confirmation classes will meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. throughout the school year. Please contact Pastor Raleigh with any questions about Confirmation classes.

The Senior Choir will have its first practice on Wednesday, September 16, at 7:00 p.m. Please consider adding your voice to the choir. No musical talent required.

On Sunday, September 13, we’ll gather for Rally Sunday in the Osceola City Park. Sunday School classes will begin at 9:45 a.m. and are available for all ages.

The adult class will begin the fall through Scripture and the Smalcald Articles to explore the question:

“Why did Luther believe this confession was worth standing on unto death?”

I'm excited to dive into this topic with you, and I hope many of you can participate.

At 10:45 a.m., worship will begin in the park shelter. Following the service, we’ll share a potluck meal.
